Another great combo

Here’s another fantastic color combination.  We didn’t have exactly the right colors for this one but this combination, though not quite exact, does work well here!  Tip Top Taupe, Sweet Sugarplum, and Pink Pirouette.  It is actually quite spectacular.  Now, this was a sample made by my partner in crime, Rebecca, she was the mastermind that thought to alternate the butterflies in the dress and on the box.  Tell me that butterfly on top of the box is not stunning!  Oh yeah it is!

Oh the Colors!

There are some beautiful color combinations out there for weddings.  This one is spectacular. Cherry Cobbler, Real Red and Basic Grey.  What I love about this box is the versatility of just what you can do with it.  Yesterday, we cut slats in the lid of the box with one of the colors peeking through.  Today, we cut out a hexagon with a beautiful floral pattern cut out.  Wait until you see tomorrow’s set.  WOW!

I embossed the floral stamp with clear embossing powder and I used the hearts from first box to accent the banner on the second.  Cool, huh?

Birthday Box

birthdayboxCan I just say that I love this… no no… I LOVE this box!  I totally LOVE it.  Just so you know, January is birthday month!  Why?  Birthdays fall in every month? Well, my birthday month is JANUARY!  hehe. So, I kind of made this for myself.  I did change the color combination as promised BUT I reserve the right to run right back to my new favorite one!  I used Perfect Plum, Dapper Denim, Whisper White and Smoky Slate.  This also uses the Window Shopping Bundle and the SAB ribbon!  WOW’sers.  Notice the candle cut-outs on the box.  They are in every other panel of the box backed with smoky slate cardstock to make it pop!

birthdaybox1Now, there is another reason why January is birthday month…. My youngest son was born in January too!  We are separated by 3 weeks, exactly!  To the right, you will see a thumbnail of the box showing it from the top.  Click on it, it will make the picture larger so you can see some of the details (like the teeny tiny pearls – I am still trying to finish the package… LOL)
