Happy Valentine’s Day!

happyvdI know, I know.  It’s not Valentine’s day, yet.  As a matter of fact, I should be wishing you all a Happy New Year.  Happy New Year!!!!!  May 2017 be a fantastic year for you!!  So, I got to playing with this Mini Egg Carton (New in the Occasion’s Catalog) and I couldn’t stop myself. The image doesn’t show the details but the thumbnails show more.  The color scheme here is Soft Sky, Real Red and Whisper White.  The egg carton was spritzed with Soft Sky Ink and some shimmer white paint (we used to sell it but don’t have anymore).  You can’t tell how glittery it is but… oh baby!  It’s gorgeous!

Then, I went to town with the Layering Circles Framelits for the Big Shot.  They are layered, from the bottom up, Real Red, Whisper White, Soft Sky, Whisper White.  I used the Sending Love Suite.  happyvd-outsideNotice the new Sending Love 1/8″ grosgrain ribbons, the Sending Love Embellishments, and Sealed with Love Stamp Set.  I forgot to order the Sending Love DSP pack (I will on January 4th) or I would have used the Designer Series Paper too! hehe.  Do you see that there are tiny pearls all around the Soft Sky scalloped circle.   Click on the thumbnail on the left.  OMG!  It’s really cute.  And there are a LOT of Dimensionals on this project.  Every single later is popped-up!

sealed-closeupSo inside the box, we have four “egg slots.”  Each one filled with 3 yummy Dove Chocolates – making a dozen in all.  I added a few embellishments inside too!  You will find a thumbnail on the right.  Click on it for a larger image.  “Sealed with a Kiss” heart is stamped in Soft Sky lips.  Some are stamped full on.  Some are stamped off to give the heart some texture. You will also find the Sweet and Sassy Framelit Dies and the Duet Banner Punch.  One of the best things that I like about our Photopolymer Stamps is that you can bend them a bit. This made the “I love you” fit even better in the punch than it already did!

I sponged around the outside of the banner to make it pop against the inside of the box.

So, what do you think?  Do you like it?  I hope so!  I am going to be bring you another “love” card tomorrow.  One done with a different new stamp set out of the Occasions Catalog.  I just have to photograph it.  I hope you like it!  I want to go back downstairs and play with a few more sets…. I am super excited to play finally!  YAY me! hehehe…..

Celebrate you…

celebrateyou… I got a call from niece and she’s wanting a card that is simple yet elegant.  I stamped this in like 3 minutes.  The card color is Blushing Bride.  I stamped Celebrate You in Soft Suede and the lips in Blushing Bride.  It actually turned out kind of cute.  I think I am going to go back and sparkle up the lips with some Stella Winks.  Sorry about the photo quality… and my fingers…. LOL.  I am not sure where this card will go next but I will keep you posted if it goes anywhere!

I used two stamp sets for this card.  Birthday Blast and Sealed with Love.  They are both in the Occasions catalog!  I can’t wait for you guys to see this catalog (if you haven’t already).  There is something in there for EVERYONE!

Merry Christmas

sealedwakissWhile I am cooking Christmas dinner – we are having a VERY un-traditional Christmas dinner – I thought I would share with you a card I made for Valentine’s Day. Yes, it’s time to start pumping out some Valentine’s Day projects.  I have so many ideas, it’s not even funny!  I am not sure if I will get to my stamp room tomorrow.  I am hoping to but I can’t make any promises.  hehe

This card uses the Sealed with Love Bundle.  It’s a photopolymer stamp set and comes with the Love Notes Framelits.  It has that fun border on the right side of the card.  Plus, the arrow I used on the heart itself.  I also used the Sweet & Sassy Framelits dies too to cut out the sentiment and border!  Sending Love embellishments are the two smaller hearts to the left of the sentiment.

Isn’t this a fun card?  I thought so too!

The color combination is Sweet Sugarplum (an in-color) and Rich Razzleberry.

To those of you that celebrate Christmas, I wish you a VERY Merry Christmas.  To all, I wish you a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year!  Enjoy your family and never take life for granted!

Last Christmas Card

merryxmasgirlSo it’s Christmas Eve…. I thought I would post a Christmas card that is also a sneak peek.  This card was made for a teenage girl.  I hope she likes it.  She’s very artsy and very much into coloring and shading.  I think she can appreciate it.  *fingers crossed*

I used the Festive Season stamp set for the background stamping and Beautiful You for the image itself.  The sentiment…. Well, I am not sure (because I am not in the basement) but I think it’s called More Merry Messages.

It was a fun card to make.  Super easy too.  The new watercolor pencils… WOW!  I love to watercolor and they are sooooo smooth and easy to work with!  I love them!!

DSP cards

hohohoSo, the last time I posted, I showed you a card, inspired by the Holiday Catalog, where I cut out the presents.  Remember?  Well today, I am going to share with you 2 cards using old DSP.  Check out this one….  Now, the Santa image came from Designer Series Paper from a couple of years ago.  Maybe last year.  Not sure! LOL

I did use Holly Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and Greetings from Santa stamp set as far as current product is concerned.  The ribbon is on sale right now!! Don’t miss out on that deal!

northpoleHere’s the next card.  The Rudolf image came from the same DSP pack as the Santa image in the above.  I also used some retired Washi Tape.  The sentiment also came from the Greetings from Santa stamp set.  I think this card came out cute too!  What do you think?
